From Students’ Alumni Committee to Students' Alumni Cell (SAC), the journey has indeed been long and exhilarating. SAC forms the third pillar of IIM Kozhikode with more power come more responsibility. SAC brings together graduates of a variety of programmes right from its inception. The collective strength of this alumni network is the backbone of IIMK. SAC indeed acts as a platform between the illustrious alumni and their alma mater, giving the current students and the alumni a chance to develop positive synergies and grow together in this process. The strength of any institute is the present students, who are the future leaders and the alumni of the college, who bring in accolades by virtue of their success and standing in the society.

SAC aims at increasing alumni engagement with the campus via a series of events spread across the year. Some of them are:  

 

Nostalgia

Nostalgia is the flagship event of SAC. It is the annual In campus Alumni Meet - an evocative event that marks homecoming, celebration and unparalleled joy of communion with the alma mater wherein alumni from various batches come to campus and relive their memories and interact with the students. It is an ideal opportunity to renew old bonds, foster new ties and relive the magical moments all over again.

Alumni Klinic

Alumni Klinic is a platform wherein students get an opportunity to interact with the student’s one on one. The main objective of the event is that the alums may share their corporate experience and provide tips for career development to the students.

 

 

Sangam

Sangam is the annual off-campus Alumni-Student-Fresher Meet which is held across various domestic cities like Mumbai,Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, Delhi, Hyderabad, Cochin, Pune and International chapters like United Kingdom, Dubai, London,  San Fransisco and Singapore.

 

Aegis

Aegis aims at enhancing the infrastructure of college by in-kind donation from the alumni. Added to this, we also have a Kasebook portal, which is a one stop solution for all alumni- from posting job vacancies to getting updates on college news and their peers, it indeed provides them with all the useful information.

 

Teachers Day Celebration

SAC celebrates Teacher’s Days by presenting mementos to the faculty members incorporating the messages and greetings received from alumni of the Institute.

 

Women's Day Celebration

SAC celebrates International Women's Day (IWD) on 8th March every year. The event is organised to express love and gratitude towards women's' contribution to our lives and society. This special day, dedicated to alumnus of the Institute around the world across all spheres of life as well as shaping the future.
